Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument is home to thousands of marine species, and now you can watch some of them LIVE from the comfort of your home.

A beautiful live streaming experience supports the importance of preserving the marine ecosystem at Papahānaumokuākea for future generations.

Waikīkī Aquarium’s Northwestern Hawaiian Islands exhibit features a living reef ecosystem representative of the world’s most isolated islands. A 4,000-gallon public display features masked angelfish, Thompson’s anthias, Japanese angelfish, Hawaiian morwongs, and unique live table corals. These species are abundant in Papahānaumokuākea, but are extremely uncommon or absent around the Main Hawaiian Islands, and some are endemic to Hawaiʻi - found nowhere else on Earth.

Check out the aquarium webcam to view all of these as well as bandit angelfish, crosshatch triggerfish and table coral. Many of these unique species were collected on a NOAA research expedition to Papahānaumokuākea.
